Stop by our Watertown North Hwy 81 location and you will be greeted by a little boy and his dog. This statue "the Check Up" is to commemorate our 90th anniversary. David W. Johnson, CEO, appreciates art of all kinds, especially originals. This was purchased at Sculpture Walk, which is a Sioux Falls annual art appreciation project where they bring sculptures and other forms of visual art to Phillips Ave to be on display for about 10 months. Dave decided that "Check Up" would have broad appeal to bank customers such as parents & grandparents, pet lovers, professionals like medical doctors and veterinarians, and just about anyone who appreciates a simple Norman Rockwell illustration.
We feel this statue represents to customers, how we as a community bank are here for all clients financial "check ups" now and for future generations.
