Reliabank Proudly Supports WHS

Hugh Bartels, President and Mark Tetzlaff, VP of Reliabank recently helped the Arrow Education Foundation Prize Patrol award grants to teachers in the Watertown School District. Reliabank is a founding member and Hugh was on the original Board Of Directors. 

The Arrow Education Foundation awarded grants to Watertown School District teachers for resources to “enhance educational opportunities for students”.

The Innovative Education Grant for $7000 was given to all elementary reading teachers. The teachers will each receive an iPad to motivate and equip students with important skills for learning to read successfully

The Innovative Education Foundation Grant for $750 was given to McKinley 3rd Grade.
These classes will be using BananaGrams letter tiles to allow each student to manipulate the tiles as they learn to spell and build their understanding of words

The Foundation Innovative Education Grant for $3000 for awarded to WMS math students. These students will be using iPads for accomplishing lesson activities in math that will help challenge and accelerate gifted students as well as aid progress for the struggling learner.

A Foundation Innovative Education Grant for $2900 was give to WMS students. These students will be participating in the Oelweus Bullying Prevention Program. This program, one of the premier bullying prevention programs in the country, will be implemented at WMS to address the whole bullying cycle
